Producer kills himself after watching his upcoming film

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Krishnan committed suicide after watching a preview of his upcoming film. The report said that he was concerned over the success of the film at the box office. It seems that the film cost him Rs 4 crore and he was facing financial crisis. 

As sad as this incident is, we wonder if there were other reasons that drove the producer to take such a drastic step.

The film stars’ actors Asif Ali, Unni Mukundan, Aju Varghese, Vinay Fort, Honey Rose and Lena. Shanil Muhammad, who co-directed Philips and the Monkey Pen, has written as well as directed Avarude Ravukal.

Ajay had also played several small roles in movies and television shows, most notably, Prithviraj starrer Memories.
