Going Viral: Chetan Bhagat’s open letter to Kashmiri youth

Recently he wrote an open letter to the Kashmiri youth in the aftermath of the unrest at NIT Srinagar. He specifically addressed those Kashmiris who held anti-national sentiments and provided an alternate point of view, where they might have a better future in India. 

The letter also included a paragraph on comparative analysis between the options Kashmiris have vis-a-vis India or Pakistan. Bhagat concluded his letter with the opinion that their best bet for a stable future lies in India. 

While the author summarised the history of Kashmir, he left out many valid points such as the death toll in the state for the past 27 years. As usual, he was trolled on Twitter for simplifying the issue and ignoring numerous factual intricacies.
