Official sources said fourty-year-old Manikandan, hailing from Valiyathura in Kollam suffered 70 per cent burn injuries and was admitted to the ICU in the Government Medical College here.Â
Two more succumbed to their burn injuries yesterday. They were fireworks contractor Surendran (67) and Satyan (55). Surendran suffered more than 90 per cent burn injuries and died in the Medical College Hospital. Doctors performed a major abdominal surgery on him. However, he breathed his last due to renal failure.Â
Satyan was in  ICU of the Medical College Hospital, and died due to serious burn injuries.
