BSF opens fire at Jat protesters

According to reports, Haryana Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu’s residence was attacked by the protesters though the minister was not there. The BSF opened fire when the mob tried to enter the residence of Rohtak range IG on the Rohtak-Delhi road.  Jat leaders on Friday rejected an appeal by political parties to call off their quota protest even as Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave an assurance that a solution will be worked out to extend reservation to the community.
