Mudragada firm on fast unto death as talks fail
Mudragada Padmanabham who continued his fast unto death for the second day today, has announced that the governments' response to his demands was negative and he received information to this effect.

He told media persons that his demands for fixing a deadline of three months for according BC status to Kapus, and releasing of Rs 2,000 crore due to the Kapu corporation from the past two years received a cold response.
"Some friends mediated but the government has refused to concede them and it did not come down even a step. Hence it left me with no alternative to continue the fast unto death stir along my wife Padmavati. Our lives are dedicated for the welfare of Kapu community he declared with emotion filled voice," he said.
