Kozhikode gears up for PM Narendra Modi's visit
Elaborate arrangements, including tight security, have been put in place for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to this historic city of Kerala to inaugurate 'Vision Conclave' as part of the on-going Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF) 2016 tomorrow

Mr Modi, who will arrive at Calicut International Airport, will be flown by a chopper to West Hill and would go to the venue of the meet at Swapnanagari by road.
Helipad at West Hill has been spruced up to facilitate landing of the Prime Minister.
Sources said aimed at providing foolproof security, city police would deploy 1200 strong contingent of policemen led by an Inspector General of Police in and  around the venue tomorrow.
Security arrangements has been made under direct supervision of state Director General of Police T P Senkumar.
Apart from the state police force Special Protection Group (SPG) has already arrived in the city to coordinate security arrangements.
The event was being organized by Centre for Innovation in science and Social Action  (CISSA) and supported by Union Ayush Ministry and Kerala government.
Apart from the country, delegates from Russia South East Asian countries are participating in the five-day event began yesterday.
