Security intensified, one more suspected terrorist nabbed
Police Commissioner Megharick today took stock of security arrangements made in the Manickshaw Parade Ground, the venue of Republic Day parade on Tuesday, even as one more suspected terrorist was nabbed in the City last night.

Police said that Telangana Special Brach police who were on his hunt had arrived here a couple of days back and have succeded in nabbing 31 year-old Rafique Khan while walking with his wife near his rented house.
Rafique, in his attempt to escape, attacked one constable with knife and tried to runaway, but the team overpowered and nabbed him with local people help. The constable was admitted to hospital.
Rafique was wanted in connection with 2008 bomb blast in Ahmadabad and was staying in the city since last six month in a rented house stating that he was working as a Air Condition mechanic.
The arrested will be produced before the NIA Court today before being taken to Delhi.
With Rafique's arrest the total number of suspected terrorists having link with ISIS has increased to seven inn Karnataka, including five from the State Capital, one each from Tamakuru and Mangaluru two days back. The six arrested have been remanded to NIA custody till January 27 with direction to produce them at Delhi Court.
Speaking to newsmen, Mr Megharick said that security has been tightened in the city in view of Republic Day.
