BJP a party of killers: Assam Chief Minister
Following the attack on Congress office here, Tarun Gogoi has accused BJP of attempting to capture power on the basis of Goodaraj
Guwahati
Lashing out at BJP for the clash outside Congress headquarters here, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday said that BJP was a “party of killers” and trying to capture power in the state by “goondagiri” (vandalism). “BJP has lost people’s trust. They are trying to come to power by goondagiri. They want to fight the next election (in Assam) on the basis of goondaraj. We have to stop them and we will not allow them,” Gogoi said. Expressing unhappiness over the police failure to prevent Monday’s clash outside Rajiv Bhavan, he announced an inquiry by Additional Chief Secretary V B Pyarelal into the incident.
