Makers of Tamizh Padam 2.0 take a dig at piracy site in poster
Actor Siddharth released the poster of the upcoming film Tamizh Padam 2.0 on social media on Saturday. Produced by Sashikanth, the film, a sequel to the 2010 spoof venture Tamizh Padam, will be directed by CS Amudhan.

The poster reveals that the film will hit the screens on May 25, 2018. Meanwhile, taking a dig at Tamil Rockers, a popular website that uploads pirated versions of films, the poster also adds, “Releasing in Tamil Rockers on 26.05.2018.” The first part marked the directorial debut of Amudhan, and starred actors Shiva and Disha Pandey in the lead roles.
Adding to the fun, actor Siddharth also later tweeted with some sarcasm, “Sorry my account has been hacked last six minutes. I have reported to cybercrime and they solved it. Hackers have released some objectionable tweets. It’s not me. Thank you. #TP2point0.”
