Makeover magic: College student gets edgy look

Vidhya was open to experimenting with bold colours. Keeping in mind her requirements, the style experts wanted to give her a look that would stand out, yet be easier to maintain. They decided to go with the graduated A-line bob cut, also called an inverted bob cut. 

The front length was kept longer to frame her face. In this haircut, the back is kept short at the neck giving it an inverted bob shape as the name suggests. Additionally, the layers stacked behind created a fuller look and gave a perfect volume at the back of her head. 

The cut when styled straight, gave her a chic and classy look. The stylists then moved on to colouring her hair with pink and purple. The colouring technique used was ‘Under-lights colouring’, which is currently trending. Shades of pink and purple were used giving Vidhya a combination of both bright and subtle shades. 

The blend of colours was created such that the distinction between the two hues was kept intact and thus giving it a very unique appeal. 

The makeover was carried out at an outlet of Green Trends Uni sex Salon.
