Canadian MPs’ Bhangra goes viral

The Canadian bhangra group visited the Parliament office and taught a few of the classic bhangra steps to Canadian MP Andy Fillmore and the Speaker of the House of Commons Geoff Regan. The Maritime Bhangra Group was there to initiate the Canada 150 celebrations with their performance. 

Canadian MP Andy Fillmore shared the video, which is now going viral, on his Facebook page and wrote, “Today #Halifax’s Maritime Bhangra Group are on Parliament Hill. They stopped by to visit Geoff Regan and me in the House of Commons Speaker’s office, and you know what that means...!” 

The video was shot in the office of House of Commons Speaker Geoff Regan. The video has already been viewed over 29000 times.
