Celebrating female bonding

While the discussions were set against the movie Sonata, a narrative that celebrates female friendships, the evening also explored the nuances of a woman’s daily life, her ups and downs in an urban landscape, the high-handedness of the CBFC, and more. Dancer and choreographer Anita Ratnam anchored the discussion which was followed by a question and answer session with the audience. The gala event ended in a photo session where all three artistes graciously posed for the shutterbugs and indulged in some candid conversations with the guests.
