Deepika’s divine trip goes viral
Actress Deepika Padukone visited Rishikesh recently and attended the Ganga aarti with her mother Ujjala Padukone and other relatives. Pictures and a video of Deepika performing aarti with the gurus of the Parmartha Niketan Ashram were shared on social media and are going viral.

In some of the pictures, Deepika can be seen with Swami Chidananda Saraswati, the head of the ashram with whom the actress also engaged in a discussion about the cleanliness of Ganga.
Swami Chidananda Saraswati, who heads the ashram, gifted her a Rudraksha sapling and said if the saints, singers and actors worked together for cleanliness, the mission will easily achieve its objective. Deepika attended the aarti dressed simply in white kurta and pants and had a shawl wrapped around her.
