The 1965 popular song What the world needs now is love, made popular by Jackie DeShannon, became the theme of a special party that was hosted by Achim Fabig, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chennai and his lovely wife Didem Atahan-Fabig at The Westminster bar in Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park recently.

The crème de la crème of society came together for an evening of music and dance to celebrate universal love. While the men were seen dressed formally in suits, the ladies looked beautiful in their chic apparels. Peppy music, heady cocktails and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres did the rounds. Guests were spotted enjoying the evening to the hilt with lots of laughter and love around.
