Smurfs join hands with UN to encourage children, young people

The ‘Small Smurfs Big Goals’ campaign is designed to encourage everyone to learn about and support the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which were agreed on by all 193 member-countries of the UN in 2015, read an official statement. 

It begins with the launch of a video inspiring viewers to champion the goals, which include ending extreme poverty, protecting the planet and giving everyone the chance to enjoy peace and prosperity. 

Launched on Wednesday by the UN, Unicef, and the UN Foundation, public can also join Team Smurfs by visiting the Smurfs official website and contribute in different ways.
