Big push for short films

First Clap, said to be India’s first theatrically-showcased talent hunt for passionate new directors, promoted by Moviebuff, in association with actor Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, will also give the winners an opportunity to have their work showcased in theatres. The unveiling was attended by Suriya, directors KV Anand and Jayendra, and cinematographer PC Sreeram. The contest is officially open for submissions and participants can send in their entries until January 16, 2017 midnight. One can also register on Moviebuff. com to submit their films.
