What is it about storytelling that you enjoy the most?Â
Storytelling is all about connecting with the audience and I love doing that. I also love the fact that you can see the audience’s reaction to your narration. Unlike theatres, you can constantly improvise after gauging audience’s reaction. It is both challenging and fun.
You narrate stories to kids and adults. How is it different from one another?Â
With children, the story narration is quite simple — setup, conflict and resolution. For adults, it’s a whole complex process to the story with setup, conflict, partial resolution leading to escalation, more conflict, and final resolution.
Since you are on an Indian tour, what was that one thing you noticed about kids here?Â
They are immensely well-behaved, sharp and participative. They are all ears and come up with many intelligent observations. It has been a great experience so far.
