Learn how to spin your own fairy tale
Personal experiences and stories enacted through drama and dance have the power to heal and transform individuals. World Storytelling Institute is conducting a special workshop to initiate enthusiasts into it. Eric Miller shares some information on the same.

Tell us about the workshopÂ
This would be an experiential session, rich with stories of personal experiences, memories, imagination, dream-work, fairy tales, myths, and movement activities – aimed at exploration, discovery, and connection with self, others, and the universe, perhaps leading to transformation and healing. Mike Clarke, a drama therapist from southeast England and Anshuma Kshetrapal, a practicing drama-and-movement psychotherapist will be taking these workshops.Â
Who can attend this workshop?Â
No previous background in Psychology, Drama, etc is needed. Educators, counsellors, arts background people, parents, and anyone else who might be interested are most welcome to join the workshop.Â
How will it help in the long run?Â
By beginning to use these methods with themselves, participants might also begin to learn ways to use these methods with others. The methods used in this workshop could be used with people of all types and ages - including for training people in Life Skills in Corporate settings, for training people experiencing conditions such as hyperactivity (Attention Deficit Disorder), dyslexia and autism.
When: Sunday 2 October, 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
