Is calligraphy a popular art form?
Calligraphy or the art of producing decorative handwriting or lettering with a pen or brush has immense scope but is not explored much. It can be used to send personalised greeting cards, letters or just as a note with a gift. It instantly strikes a chord with the recipient.
Tell us about the workshop
The workshop is for beginners and will be conducted by Christina Ranjan, an experienced art teacher specialising in different art forms ranging from calligraphy to mixed media. Once you attend it and learn the basics, it will give an idea as to whether you like the art form or not. After that one can decide to go in for advanced courses.
