AR Rahman lauds viral opera-style Indian mashup

In her latest video, she has collaborated with Rajasthani folk singer Sawan Khan Manganiyar. The due has come out with a unique song titled A Dream In Rajasthan. The USP of the track is that it combines an Italian classic Nella Fantasia with Indian vocals. The magical song has been shot at the picturesque Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort. The clip speaks of spreading peace and love across borders. The video, that has been receiving immense praise from all quarters, has caught even AR Rahman’s attention, who couldn’t refrain from acknowledging the beautiful rendition on Twitter. Natalie has performed with the music maestro at his live concerts in Bangalore, Nagpur, Mumbai and Dubai in 2011-2012. She also sang on the background score for the film Kadal, which was composed by Rahman.
