    A 90-year-old millionaire widower is seeking a bride who would give him love and care till his last breath as he does not want to bequeath his wealth to his two sons and two daughters who are allegedly ill-treating him.

    Mansukhlal, 90, who retired from a senior managerial position in a bank 30 years ago, has been living at the mercy of his children for the last five years after his wife died. “I am living in an apartment owned by my daughter. She charges me a monthly rent of Rs 17,000. One of my sons charges me Rs 6,000 a month for providing me food. They visit me once a month to collect the rent but have no time to take me to a doctor,” he rues. 

    “Now all my four children are waiting for my death so that they can divide amongst them my life-time savings which I have deposited in bank,” the nonagenarian retired banker said. “I don’t want my selfish children to have a single rupee from my life’s savings,” he adds. The veteran citizen decided to approach a local voluntary organisation called Amoolya Seva which has been running a matrimonial service for single senior citizens. “I want a life partner who would give me the much-needed company, love and care,” he told the organisers of the matrimonial service, Mr Natubhai Patel and Ms Bharatiben.
