Miss Universe India 2026: Did you know winner Kaziah Liz Mejo has acted in a Malayalam film?

CHENNAI: Keralam's 19-year-old law student and model Kaziah Liz Mejo has won the Miss Universe India 2026 crown at the grand finale in Jaipur. She defeated 52 finalists and will now represent India at the 75th Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico in November.

1. Kaziah is a 19-year-old law student and model from Mavelikkara in Keralam. She is currently pursuing law alongside her modelling career.

2. Although she is from Keralam, Kaziah spent her childhood in Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

3. She studied at Emirates National School, St Joseph's School and Abu Dhabi Indian School.

4. Kaziah began making her mark in pageantry as a teenager. At 17, she won the Miss Teen Diva 2024 title.

5. She represented India at Miss Teen International 2025, where she finished as the first runner-up.

6. Earlier this year, Kaziah won Miss Universe Kerala 2026 and became the youngest winner of the state title.

7. Kaziah has trained in classical dance for 12 years.

8. She is also a singer and musician who can play the drums and violin

9. Kaziah made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Shylock (2020). Shylock is directed by Ajai Vasudev, and also features Mammootty, Rajkiran, Meena, Siddique.

10. Kaziah will travel to Puerto Rico in November to represent India at the 75th Miss Universe pageant, marking her biggest international pageant assignment yet.
