Former Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit got trolled mercilessly by the Twitterati after he tweeted porn star Johnny Sins’s picture claiming him to be a Kashmir pellet gun victim.
Johnny Sins gave an immediate reply to the ex-envoy by thanking him for his increasing followers after he re-tweeted the post. Sins also said sarcastically that his vision is fine.
However, this is not the first time a fake news on Kashmir issue became viral. A couple of weeks ago, picture of actor Maisie Williams from ‘Game of Thrones’ was tweeted by an acclaimed academician and writer Madhu Purnima Kishwar claiming her to be a pellet gun victim.
It is high time, the prominent personalities fact check a news, before they share it on a public forum.
