'Can't watch’: Chef mixes Maggi with cold coffee

CHENNAI: After butter chicken icecream and gulab jamun burger made their entry into the world of bizarre food videos turning netizens’ heads, a video has now gone viral on social media that shows a chef mixes Maggi with cold coffee.

Uploaded by the Insta-handle 'radiokarohan', the caption of the post read, "Comment me RIP MAGGI likhe (write RIP MAGGI in comments)" (sic)

The clip, being one of the Chef Kaandi series, where one man poured cold coffee into a frying pan. He opens a packet of Maggi, breaks the instant noodles into pieces, and adds them to the beverage. He also added cocoa powder, capsicum, chopped onions, red chilly, coriander, and tastemaker on top of the sizzling dish. After being cooked, ‘cold coffee Maggi’ is transferred to a plate and the man adds ketchup to give the finishing touch.

Shared three days ago, the video managed to garner nearly 1,500 views, 824 likes, and 93 comments on the platform.

The video also has been drawing reactions from netizens, who have expressed their disgust at the weird food combination in the comments section.
