CHENNAI: The makers of Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu’s upcoming film announced their title in the most quirkiest way. Produced by Kannan Ravi Productions and directed by Sam Rodrigues, the one-minute 36 second promo shows Prabhu Deva in an urban look while Vadivelu is seen in a tribal look with both carrying a country gun and a sniper rifle barrel respectively.
The film is titled Bang Bang, and the video begins with zombies walking around in an isolated location while the duo is ready to go all guns blazing. In what looks like a zombie-comedy with twists and turns, they are introduced to us as Prabu Velu and Vadi Deva. We will have to see if this has a hidden meaning in the story line.
Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu are known for their combination in Kaadhalan, Raasaiya, Mr Romeo, Engal Anna, Love Birds, Kaadhala Kaadhala and Manadhai Thirudivittai among others. Now, Bang Bang marks their on screen collaboration after over two decades. Vadivelu was also part of Prabhu Deva’s directorials, Pokkiri and Villu. Now, this announcement has delighted their fans. Bang Bang has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Venugopal.
