'LGM' audio & trailer launch live: Event concludes

CHENNAI: MS Dhoni’s debut production venture, LGM's audio and trailer launch is underway in Chennai. The Harish Kalyan-starrer film is directed by debutant filmmaker Ramesh Thamilmani. MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni are present for the audio and trailer launch ceremony. The film, produced by MS Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Dhoni’s Dhoni Entertainment, also stars Nadiya, Ivana and Yogi Babu, among others. LGM is a family entertainer.

Director Ramesh Thamilmani is also the film's composer. First single titled 'Salana' from LGM being performed by Aaditya RK.

"LGM deals with a universal problem. It's about two people falling in love and taking their relationship forward. And how they set off on a trip with their families before wedding," says Ramesh Thamilmani on LGM.

"Dhoni asked me not to worry and just follow the process," says Ramesh Thamilmani as he ends his speech

"I thought I was called for Women's Premiere League when I got a call from Dhoni Entertainment. My entire family is a huge of cricket and I am honoured to be a part of a project produced by the only Dhoni we know, " says Nadiya.

"LGM is a fun film that revolves around relationships. It shows the positive side of families. Ramesh has a positive outlook. He is always cheerful on the sets and discusses scenes as soon as he enters sets," adds Nadiya as she ends her speech.

"I am a bit nervous and happy at the same time. It's because Dhoni is here. I couldn't believe he is sitting right next to me and chatting. Such a simple person he is," says Ivana.

"Feels blessed to have acted with Nadiya ma'am. She has a daughter who is around my age and I always received her motherly affection. Harish Kalyan and RJ Vijay kept pulling pranks. It was fun."

"When I met Dhoni first and asked how am I doing I couldn't react. This team is a huge team and I am lucky to be a part of it. I can tell people that I am a part of Thala film (Dhoni), says Ivana and ends her speech.

"Thanks for giving a memorable IPL season sir. We know you went through pain but still went into the field for us. Thanks for giving us the best moments. Hope it isn't the last one for you."

"Like Ramesh said this film has a universal concept. Audience across the world can relate to #LGM."

"Ramesh too is captain cool and he steered the movie brilliantly by keeping everyone in a great space and in comfort," says Harish.

"I asked my mom if I can also call Nadiya ma'am my mom. Such is her affection. Ivana is a prankster as well. Don't go by her appearance," he adds.

"Dhoni said he personally likes the film and that is the biggest compliment. He says we must like what we do and personally I liked it," he further added.

"I see every film as an opportunity to connect with the audience and Let's Get Married has that. It talks about mother-son bonding and other emotions that we value," he further added.

"Epdi irukeenga? MS Dhoni has taught me a little Tamil. I can also understand Tamil a bit. I wanted to develop the concept and did it through him. It was Dhoni he wanted me to do it in Tamil. Chennai is the auspicious place to have the best start," Sakshi Dhoni begins her speech.

She adds, "I am happy with the movie and we now have an extended family here."

"#LGM also means Life Gets Magical. We all crave for a ticket in Chepauk. But today i am near what is synonymous with IPL trophies. I was there in Cheapuk and Baasha bgm played when you entered. It's a lifetime achievement. Everyone shouted Dhoni," he added.

RJ Vijay continues, "Harish is my brother from another mother. More than Ivana I kept talking to her mum as Ivana is forever busy on phone."

"Now the entire team of Dhoni Entertainment talks in Tamil," he adds.

"Such a big personality making a film in Tamil is a huge thing. Ramesh asked me for "7" days call sheet. He told me he wants my dates from Dhoni Entertainment and then I was contemplating. But he told me he would get me a bat from Dhoni and I agreed to do it, " says Yogi Babu.

"I also have a bat that I have brought for MSD. I will get it autographed by him for my son. As a gift I am ready to give Dhoni my next film's call sheet," says Yogi Babu.

"I thought I was going to choreographer for a peppy number. Ended up choreographing for a 'Kiliki' lyric song," says Sandy.

"Everyone knows I am a die-hard fan on stage. You could have done movies anywhere. But actions speak louder than words, and shows your love for Tamil Nadu. Thanks a lot for that," says Vignesh Shivan.

"I know Ramesh as an architect, but, now as filmmaker and composer is unbelievable. All your clients are waiting for you to complete their homes," he adds.

"The love for MS Dhoni is not for his on-field traits. It's for his personality. Even if he loses or gets out on the first ball we love him. It's unconditional, he further adds.

"I didn't say Let's Get Married to Nayanthara. I never had the guts. In fact, both of us said it together, he further adds.

"I will speak as it comes to my mind. I didn't teach bad words in Tamil to Sakshi because I myself don't know any bad words in Tamil, MSD starts his speech.

"Both the ladies in the film didn't let Harish speak (asks Sandy if he is married)," he adds.

"I met Vignesh Shivan, when we shot for a video a few year ago and had a fantastic time," he adds.

"#LGM has the husband getting scared of his wife whenever she says I have an idea. It's a destiny..my test debut was in Chennai and my maiden test century was here..when IPL happened I was adopted by Tamil Nadu," he adds.

"The only thing I told Sakshi Dhoni was it's not like designing a house. Decide the storyline and cast. Once you commit.. commit to it fully," he adds.

"LGM is the fastest-shot Tamil film and we shot it in a record time. I ensured that the food was good for everyone on the team. Make everybody happy," he adds further.

"LGM is fun and is an equation between three people. Harish Kalyan is sandwiched between mom and wife," he adds.

"I had little commitment and didn't interfere. I want to have a happy home and I'd say yes. Like Vignesh said action speaks louder than words and this is how I give it to them, he adds.
