Ajith escapes unhurt after minor accident

CHENNAI: Actor and motorsport enthusiast Ajith Kumar escaped unhurt .His No. 16 Ligier spun off into the gravel during the Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on Saturday (August 22).

Ajith, who is competing in the LMP3 Pro/ Am category for Ajith RedAnt by Virage, was involved in the incident at Turn 11.

The car ended up in a dangerous location, prompting the deployment of the Safety Car for the second time during the race. Ajith escaped without injuries.

The Spa-Francorchamps round was the fourth event of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup season.
