School in Tiruvallur shut for second day due to bomb threat

CHENNAI: A private school in Ponneri's Pancheti has been closed for the second day following continuous bomb threats, causing a stir in the neighbourhood.

The school was closed on Tuesday and the students were sent back home following bomb threats.

Following the closure, another threat was issued on Tuesday night resulting in shutting the school again on Wednesday.

Combing operations are underway in the school with the help of sniffer dogs.
