Metro Rail work: Madhavaram High Road made one-way from Oct 10 to 25
Madhavaram High Road will be made one-way from October 10 to 25 in connection with the soil test for Chennai Metro Rail on the Road at Sembium in Perambur, said a press release from the Chennai police on Friday.

The vehicles coming from Moolakadai to Perambur Railway Station and its surrounding areas will be diverted towards Lakshmi Amman Kovil Street via Melpatti Ponnappan Street via Birth and Burial Road (BB Road) and Perambur High Road. Vehicles coming from Perambur Railway Station towards Moolakadi at Madhavaram High Road can continue to go as usual. The press release from the city police sought cooperation from the public and motorists to ensure smooth flow of traffic during these days.
