CISF jawan hangs self at Washermenpet home
A CISF jawan committed suicide by hanging at his house in New Washermenpet on Monday. Police identified the deceased as Mahendra Kumar, 28, a native of Chattisgarh.

The deceased was part of CISF deployment on the High Court campus, police said.
Two of his colleagues who were staying with him had returned Monday afternoon after work only to find Mahendra Kumar dead and hanging from the fan in one of the rooms.
Based on the information, the police team from the New Washermanpet station rushed to the scene and shifted the body to the hospital for post mortem. Police are enquiring about the reason behind his extreme action.
