‘Make it quick': Min after inspecting new Metro line
Industries Minister MC Sampath on Friday reviewed works on Chennai Metro phase I extension line from Washermenpet to Wimco Nagar and directed the officials for speedy completion of works.

The minister inspected the project network of 9.05-km-long underground and elevated line construction works, an official release from CMRL said. “After taking stock of the final works underway at the Wimco Nagar station, the minister directed the officials to complete all the works in the metro stations soon. He also inspected the metro train which was on trial operation there,” it said.
