Chennai to witness a month-long mega carnival

Called CIAO The Season Carnival show, the one-of-its-kind carnival is held to mark the end of 2020 and the beginning of the year 2021 by supporting homepreneurs. “The entire year has been a glitch for everyone, especially, homeprenuers and smallscale businesses. Through this 34-day event, we aim to uplift those people and give them a place to showcase their products. We are expecting 30 homeprenuers to take part in this month-long celebration. Apart from this, there will be a carnival show that will have performers from Guinness Record and Asian Book of Record. You can see acts like juggling, unicycle, bubble act, lion dance, mirror man, magician, dwarf clowns, crystal act, stilt walkers, acrobatics, hula hoop dance, mime acts, balloon sculpting and more. These artists haven’t gotten a stage to perform in the past few months because of the restrictions. We will also be having stalls for tarot card reading and candy shop. We are planning to have live music shows throughout the carnival days,” Vinu Ramachandran, curator of Let’s Roll tells DT Next.
