The event will be streaming at www.youtube. com/AnithaGuhasBharathanjali from November 21-23 from 6.30 pm onwards. Founded by Anitha Guha, Bharathanjali imparts Bharatanatyam training to over 150 children from the age of five. Having developed a unique and wholesome style accepted by connoisseurs and commoners alike, the school is well known for presenting high-quality mega Nritya Natakams. The school has also produced several proficient solo dancers who are making a mark in the field as emerging professional dancers. Reminiscing 30 years of a journey with her institution, Anitha Guha says, “Looking back, I want to thank Swami Sri Sathya Baba for the glorious 30 years of artistic journey as a Bharatanatyam teacher.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Similarly, Bharathanjali too began with a few beautiful children dancing in my living room. It is there that my unplanned teaching journey with the prime goal of imparting affordable yet quality Bharatanatyam education with kids from middle-class backgrounds.” Each of the three days has an elaborate schedule with a wonderful line-up of performances. The grand finale of the festival will feature a premiere of the most-awaited Nama Ramayanam, a production that was created during the pandemic and features 60 students of Bharathanjali, both from India and abroad. The grand finale will also feature excerpts from Bharathanjali’s old productions.
