In a shocking revelation the health department announced that 50 people who've been to Koyambedu market were tested positive for covid-19.

However, the number of positive is only 1.5 percent of the total footfall.

Retailers and public were cordoned off from visiting the market, permission was granted only for 200 wholesale shops, strict measures to test wholesale merchants and load vehicles were in place.
