Man murders second wife at MKB Nagar

In another incident on Tuesday night, a 31-year-old man murdered his wife suspecting her of infidelity at MKB Nagar and surrendered at local police station.

The accused, Charles Rajkumar of the same locality, got separated from his first wife a few years ago and got married to one Ramani (35) of Vyasarpadi last year. However, since he suspected Ramani of infidelity, the couple often quarrelled after which Ramani went to stay with her mother.

On Tuesday, Charles compromised with Ramani and brought her home. However, a quarrel erupted between them and Charles in a fit of rage stabbed her with a kitchen knife repeatedly on her neck and killed her.

Later, he went to the MKB Nagar police station with the knife and surrendered. A team from the station rushed to his house and retrieved Ramani’s body for post-mortem. Charles was remanded in judicial custody on Wednesday.
