BDO who participated in birthday bash hosted by DMK man dies of COVID
A Block Development Officer (BDO) who participated in a birthday party thrown by a DMK functionary and later tested positive for COVID succumbed to the infection in the hospital.

The deceased, who is 53 years old, tested positive for COVID-19 on June 20 and was admitted to Tiruvallur Government Hospital for treatment. As his condition worsened, he was shifted to a private hospital in Chennai and later moved to Omandurar Government Hospital on Saturday. The victim, who lost his life at 5am on Monday, is survived by his wife and two children. It maybe noted that he tested positive along with DMK’s Gunasekar after they participated in a birthday party thrown by the latter at a mango farm.
