AIADMK to donate Rs one crore for corona relief
This was announced in a joint statement by AIADMK Co-coordinator and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and coordinator and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam today.

The ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu today announced contribution of Rs one crore to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund towards coronavirus prevention and relief measures.
This was announced in a joint statement by AIADMK Co-coordinator and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and coordinator and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam today.
This is in addition to the announced made by them on March 26 that AIADMK MPs and MLAs would donate their March month salary, besides funds from their constituency development funds, for corona relief measures in the State.
Recalling the Rs 3,280 crore relief package announced by the state government and the Rs 4,000 financial package sought from the Centre to ease the burden of the people who were affected by the 21-day lockdown to tackle the spread of coronavirus in the State, they said apart from the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister, MPs and MLAs would donate their March salary to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund for corona relief measures.
Apart from this, the MPs would also allocate Rs one crore from their MPLAD funds and MLAs Rs 25 lakhs from their MLA Local Area Development funds towards corona relief measures.
It may be recalled that the Opposition DMK contributed Rs one crore towards corona relief. DMK President and Leader of the Opposition M K Stalin also announced that his party MPs and MLAs would donate their one month's salary to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund for corona relief measures.
