Special isolated ward to treat Coronavirus to come up in Chennai's government multi-specialty hospital
A special isolation ward with 350 beds to come up in Chennai's government multi-specialty hospital, said Health Minister C Vijayabhaskar.

Health Minister C Vijayabhaskar took to his Twitter space and shared a video, while revealing that a special isolated ward in the government multi-specialty hospital in Chennai, is being made ready, and it will function from tomorrow.
Sharing a video of the ward, he wrote on Twitter, "Tamil Nadu health is scaling up additional facilities. I personally inspected the site. A 350 bedded isolation ward will be ready tomorrow at Tamil Nadu Govt MultiSuper Speciality hospital to accommodate more patients, if required".
This comes after Vijayabhaskar conformed on Monday that three more positive cases of coronavirus, taking the total to 12. These include two, both men, with travel history to London, while the other is a 54-year-old man, he tweeted.
They have been admitted to the designated hospitals in the city and in Madurai. Tamil Nadu will be under a lockdown till March 31 from 6 PM on Tuesday to prevent the spread of coronavirus and CrPC section 144 will be invoked for its implementation, Chief Minister K Palaniswami announced.
