Couple hangs to death at house in Padi
A 46-year-old man and his 38-year-old wife committed suicide by hanging on both sides of the same saree at their house in Kumaran Nagar near Padi.

Chandrasekhar and Manjula, natives of Nagari in Andhra Pradesh, was living in the rented house for one year. The police suspect that they took the extreme step dejected over their inability to have children.
The police added that the couple did not leave the house for two days and their neighbours alerted after foul smell emanated from the house on Friday. A police team broke open the house and found the bodies hanging from the ceiling in a decomposed state.
