NEET impersonation case: Candidate Dhanush's father pleads guilty of bribing
Dhanush was under radar as he doesn't know Hindi but his records showed that he appeared at a Bihar centre and wrote in Hindi.
Chennai
2nd year medical student Dhanush's father Devendran accepted that he had bribed to the tune of Rupees 15 lakh to officials to get his son through NEET.
Dhanush was under radar as he doesn't know Hindi but his records showed that he appeared at a Bihar centre and wrote in Hindi.
This sounded offkey, and Dhanush who was into second year MBBS was nabbed along with his father by the CBCID police.
It was later revealed that Devendran had bribed an 'agent' in Bengaluru to make someone else appear as Dhanush to give the exams.
