Periyapandian finds place in TN Police martyrs’ list

Apart from Periyapandian, other police personnel who have found a place in the list are Jegadeesh Durai, a Grade I Constable attached to Moondradaippu police station in Tirunelveli district who attained martyrdom on May 7, 2018; P Subburaj, a special sub-inspector of the Maraneri police station in Virudhunagar district who died in a road accident while trying to rescue a kidnap victim; V Shankar, an Armed Reserve constable in Virudhunagar Taluk who was gored to death by a bullock while being on a bandobast.
