Man arrested for bestiality in Kothavalchavadi

He was spotted by the cow’s owner M Arunkumar, a resident of the same street, when he returned to feed the cattle around 9.30 am. When Arunkumar raised an alarm, Suresh pushed him and ran away, said police. Based on Arunkumar’s complaint, Kothavalchavadi police arrested Suresh under Section 377 (unnatural sex) of IPC and remanded him in judicial custody.

Police said that Suresh was a pavement dweller and was known to thecomplainant.

Arunkumar helped his father Manavalan in the dairy business and they together rear eight cattle. While six of them were kept in the Corporation shed for cattle at Basin Bridge, two cows and a calf alone were kept at the vacant land to make it easier for milking.
