Man misbehaves with airline staff, held

According to the police, Sijo from Uttar Pradesh had arrived at the airport to board a flight to Lucknow. But as he was collecting the boarding pass from a woman in the counter, Sijo had reportedly pulled her hand and tried to misbehave with her. Other passengers and staff who were nearby then pushed Sijo and handed him over to the security officials there. Following this, the Airport police registered a case against Sijo and remanded him to judicial custody.

Meanwhile, Customs officials at Chennai airport seized gold worth Rs 18.6 lakh on Saturday from a passenger who arrived from Bangkok. Mohamed Main (23) of Hooghly, West Bengal, was found smuggling 12 small gold cylindrical rods concealed in the wheels of the stroller that hewas carrying.
