HITS five-day Data Analytics programme inaugurated

The programme, organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Computer Society of India (CSI) and MIDARC, has many students, research scholars, faculty members and industry professionals from all over Tamil Nadu participating, a release said. MIDARC is Machine Intelligence and Data Analytics Research Centre in HITS which caters to the research and incubation of ideas of various research experts.

The programme has reportedly been designed for engineering students, researchers and working professionals in industries which help them to grab job opportunities such as Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientist.

Each session of the programme has case studies, assignments and hands-on workshop in Data Analytics using R and Python as the resource persons are invited from reputed organisations like C-DAC, CISCO, NITTTR and AMEX Ltd, the release stated.

Nearly 70 participants from different cities, including students, research scholars, academicians and industry representatives from cities such as Chennai, Tiruchy, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Trivandrum, Salem, Madurai and Nagercoil participated, the release added.
