Car catches fire near city airport

The police Kamesh, a businessman from Salem, was travelling to Chennai in his car along with his brother and mother. The vehicle was driven by Sundaramoorthy (43). When they were on the flyover, motorists noticed smoke from the vehicle and alerted Sundaramoorthy. Soon, the driver stopped the car and asked all of them to get down from the vehicle. A few minutes after everyone got down, the car caught fire and was gutted. The fire and rescue team from the airport and Guindy doused the fire. St Thomas Mount traffic police have registered a case.
