Fitness challenge trends among FB users
A new hashtag is out on social media and Facebook users did not hesitate to trend it. #Fullsizephotochallenge is a fitness challenge urging people to post full-size photographs of themselves. Many social media users refrain from posting their photographs fearing body shaming. This new challenge is aimed at making fitness and healthy lifestyle a goal.

“I posted my photo to challenge my friends to do the same and thus motivate them to exercise regularly. After I posted the challenge, comments were flowing in from friends who struggled with weight issues,” said Shylender, a private firm employee.
The majority of the people who took up the challenge are health freaks and those who are in shape. The stigma around the issue and fear of body shaming stop the majority of Facebook users from responding to the challenge and there is a lack of positive body image.
“I was not worried about fitness initially. But when I started facing health issues, I started working out regularly. And I could see the difference in my health. Everyone should get enough exercise to avoid health problems caused by modern lifestyle and eating habits,” said Preethi G, a college student.
