Duo held for land grab
The Kodambakkam police have arrested a duo for grabbing a land worth Rs 33 crore from its owner using forged documents.

Among the accused, N Kamalakannan (43) of Kodambakkam is a real estate businessman, while the other accused has been identified as J Henry (56) of Kodambakkam. The 11-ground land at Puliyar area in Kodambakkam belongs to an elderly woman from Pattukottai in Thanjavur district. Based on a complaint by her son G Balasubramaniam, the police arrested the duo and remanded them in judicial custody.
