DT IMPACT: Relief for motorists as Corpn repairs flyover

This has brought much-needed relief for the riders, who were concerned about their safety and forced to be extra cautious while driving on the bridge. During recent rain, the bitumen layer of the flyover on Subramania Nagar side had fell apart. According to residents, the flyover was in a good condition until the recent rain. “Even though only cars and two-wheelers use the flyover, it was damaged after just one spell of rain,” residents had said.

When DT Next brought it to the Chennai Corporation’s attention, a zonal level official had assured to take necessary action to remove the loose gravel apart and repair it.
