Man held for attacking friend in Valasaravakkam

Parthiban was booked under three different sections and remanded in judicial custody. The incident happened when he, his friend Krishnamoorthy and two others from the locality were bursting crackers in a playground near their house.

As one of the crackers thrown by Parthiban fell near Krishnamoorthy’s leg, an argument erupted between them which developed into a fight. Parthiban then brought a knife from his house and attacked Krishnamoorthy.

The latter was treated at a hospital and a complaint was lodged against Parthiban.

The Valasaravakkam police arrested Parthiban on Wednesday night and remanded him injudicial custody.
