Thevar Jayanthi: Traffic diversion on Anna Salai

On Anna Salai, vehicles from Saidapet heading towards Nandanam and Chamiers Road will be diverted at Anna Salai-Link Road jn and will proceed to Model Hutment Road, Venkat Narayana Road, North Boag Road, Thyagarayar Salai, Eldams Road, SIET, KB Dasan Road. 

Vehicles from Saidapet heading towards Chamiers Road will be diverted at the Nandanam junction towards Venkatanarayana Road-South Boag Road, North Boag Road, Thyagarayar Salai, Eldams Road, SIET, KB Dasan Road to reach their destination.

Vehicles travelling towards Saidapet from Teynampet will be diverted at the Anna Salai-Cenotaph Road junction. They will have to take GK Moopanar bridge, Kotturpuram bridge, Gandhi Mandapam Road, Sardar Vallabhai Patel Road. GK Moopanar bridge will be made a one-way. Only vehicles from the Anna Salai-Cenotaph Road jn will be allowed towards Kotturpuram.

Vehicles from Chamiers Road heading towards Saidapet will be diverted at the Turnbulls road junction to take the G K Moopanar Bridge, Sardar Patel Road. In case of heavy traffic, vehicles will not be allowed to proceed to Nandanam from Little mount junction. Instead they will have to take Taluk Office Road, Sardar Vallabhai Patel Road and Kotturpuram.

Vehicles coming from Anna Salai towards Nandanam will also be diverted at CIT Nagar first main road-Anna Salai junction. They will have to pass through CIT Nagar First main road, South Usman Road, Madley junction, Burkit road, Thanikachalam road, Melony road, South Boag road, North Boag Road to reach Anna Salai.
